Dear PLRs,
I hope you are well. October was a positive month for the parish with crime levels remaining low across the area. The Neighbourhood Policing Team continue proactive patrols, engaging with residents and partnership working with Parish Councils, helping to maintain a safe and secure community. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT There were no significant crime trends or major incidents reported during the month. The majority of incidents received by police related to minor anti-social behaviour concerns and routine service calls. Officers maintained a visible presence throughout the parish during October, conducting reassurance patrols in key locations and engaging with residents, local businesses and community groups. These patrols provide opportunities for members of the public to raise concerns and receive crime prevention advice. SCHOOL VISIT During October, local neighbourhood officers visited Northampton School in Moulton to speak to pupils about careers within policing. The visit included discussions on: The role of the police within the community. Different career pathways within policing. Skills and qualities required to become a police officer or police staff member including qualifications. Questions and answers regarding day-to-day police work. The session was well received by both staff and pupils and helped strengthen links between the school and the local policing team. LOOKING AHEAD The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue high-visibility patrols, community engagement activities and partnership working throughout November. Officers remain committed to maintaining the low levels currently being experienced across the parish. Kind regards, PCSO Carl Barton
